- 26 year old, Johnny C Tandarich, of Mattoon was arrested by the Effingham Police Department on a Coles County warrant for contempt. Tandarich posted $300 and was released.
- 35 year old, Sarah D Louderback, of Effingham was arrested by the Effingham Police Department for pedestrian under the influence.
- 18 year old, Daisy N Hillis, of Effingham was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for driving while under the influence of alcohol, illegal consumption by a minor, illegal transportation, and improper lane usage. Hillis posted $300 and was released.

- At 8:49am at 200 S Henrietta, a semi driven by 44 year old, David A Linville, of Vandalia struck and damaged a sign owned by Little Caesar’s Pizza. No injuries or citations were reported.

- At 3:58pm at 1200 N Keller, a vehicle driven by 32 year old, Donald E Brown, of Effingham rear-ended a vehicle driven by 51 year old, Denise M Holman, of Altamont. No injuries or citations were reported.

- At 8:27pm at 200 S Henrietta, a vehicle driven by 16 year old, Erick R Gonzalez, of Olney struck and damaged a gas meter owned by Little Caesar’s Pizza. No injuries or citations were reported.
