Effingham, Ill – The Effingham Water Authority (EWA) will be holding a “Public Workshop” this evening, October 25, at 6p.m. The Workshop will be with reference to the plans for a new recreational area to be added to the vicinity.
According to the Effingham Daily News, “The development of the master plan will cost $25,000 and should expect to take about 21 weeks to compile.”
“The master plan will involve an estimated multimillion dollar project, which will be phased in over many years.”
EDN also added the EWA is looking to submit applications for grants as early as May 2018.
Tonight’s meeting is to allow for the public to give initial opinions, and ideas as to what they want to see come from the construction of the new area.
Anyone who has an idea, or a concern, according to the EWA, is more than welcome to attend and voice their opinion.
