- 26 year old, Brant D Mullen, of Louisiana, Missouri was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County failure to appear/pay warrant for driving failing to give notice of an accident.

- At 2:40pm at the intersection of 3rd and Jefferson, a vehicle driven by 80 year old, Marilyn C Koebele, of Teutopolis struck a vehicle driven by 32 year old, Niki J Buhler, of Effingham. No injuries or citations were reported.
- At 6:12pm at 1701 W Evergreen, a semi driven by 53 year old, Pierre Groleau, of Ste Marguerite Du Lac Masson, Quebec, Canada backed into a parked semi owned by R Way Transportation LLC, of Coon Rapids, Minnesota. No injuries or citations were reported.
