Effingham, Ill. – The Illinois Federation for Right to Life has endorsed State Representative David Reis (R-Ste. Marie) for the Republican Primary Election in the 109th Illinois House District.
In their letter of endorsement, the Illinois Federation for Right to Life (IFRL) PAC praised Reis for embracing a culture of life.
“We are excited to have a candidate seeking election for the 109th House District from Illinois, who will help protect the lives of those threatened by abortion, infanticide and euthanasia,” IFRL President Dawn Behnke said of Rep. Reis.
David Reis is 100% pro-life and pro-family values and he is the only candidate for State Representative endorsed by the Illinois Federation for Right to Life, Illinois Citizens for Life and Family-PAC.
“Last year, I voted against and urged the Governor to veto House Bill 40, which provides taxpayer-funded abortions on demand,” Reis said.
“I am sponsoring legislation to repeal this horrendous law and put an end to taxpayer-funded abortions.”
“I believe that all life is precious and am committed to protecting our families and defending the right-to-life of the unborn.”
As our State Representative, David Reis spoke out against taxpayer-funded abortion on demand.
He opposed embryonic stem cell research (PA 95-519) and supported a law to protect “born-alive” infants who survive attempted abortions (PA 94-559).
We can trust David Reis to uphold our family values and protect the lives of the unborn.
“My record is clear – I am a Proven Conservative Voice for Our Families. It is my honor and privilege to serve as your State Representative.
I ask for your vote in the Republican Primary on March 20th.”
Representative Reis has served his caucus as Assistant House Republican Leader since 2017.
Reis is a farmer/businessman who lives in Jasper County on their family’s fifth-generation farm, where the Reis’ have farmed for over 150 years.
