A Vandalia woman charged with Aggravated Battery of a Child under 13 with great bodily harm or permanent disability has been sentenced to 27 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
25 year old, Aubree Hammer, of Vandalia appeared in Fayette County Court on Thursday, March 29th for a sentencing hearing. According to a press release from the Fayette County State’s Attorney’s Office, “The defendant made an open plea of guilty on October 3, 2017”.
Hammer was sentenced by Judge Don Sheafor to 27 years in the IDOC with three years of Mandatory Supervised Release.
