LAKE SHELBYVILLE –(EFFINGHAM RADIO)– Camping season is finally upon us.
To celebrate, Lake Shelbyville, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will provide free camping during Pack the Park at Coon Creek Campground on May 10-12th, 2018.
Campsites will be available on a first come, first served basis Thursday through Saturday night.
Paid camping will resume on Sunday, May 13.
Campers can expect a full schedule of activities that the whole family can enjoy.
- Magician: Andrew’s Family Magic Show, Friday, May 11; 7PM-8:30PM at the Amphitheater
- Inflatable Bounce Houses: Saturday, May 12; 10AM-2PM by the Playground
- Canoe Rides: Saturday, May 12; 10AM-2PM at the Boat Ramp
- Bags Tournament, May 12; 3PM-6PM at the Main Shower House Lot
- Live Music- ToneQuest, May 12; 7PM-10PM at the Amphitheater
