EFFINGHAM COUNTY, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office would like to announce the recent hire of Jessie L Wendt, as a full-time Sheriff’s Deputy.
Jessie was born and raised in Sigel, IL.
She graduated from Teutopolis High School, attended Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville and received a Bachelor degree from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston.
Prior to Deputy Wendt’s employment with the Sheriff’s Office, she worked as a full-time police officer for the City of Leroy, IL.
Jessie will be relocating and establishing a residence in Effingham County.
