October 17, 2018
- Cyndi Willhoite, 35, Salem, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original offense of Speeding. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10%) plus $75.00 warrant fee. She posted bond and was released.
October 18, 2018
- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy cited Riesgo Valdes, 42, St. Louis, Missouri for Disobeying a Traffic Control Device. He was given a Notice to Appear in Clay County Court.
- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Mary D. Harrison, 48, Wayne City, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving While Driver’s License Revoked. Bond set at $1,500.00 (10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. She posted bond and was released.
- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Royce Phillips, 24, Lawrenceville, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Escape. Bond set at in the amount of $20,000.00 (10%). Phillips is also wanted on an outstanding Lawrence County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Defrauding a Drug Screen. Bond set at $20,000.00 (10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. Phillips is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.
- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Casey D. Armstrong, 44, Flora, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Theft. Bond set at $10,000.00(10%). She posted bond and was released.
- Tyler E. Hahn, 30, Altamont, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Petition to Revoke Probation on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond set $5,000.00 (10%). He posted bond and was released.

- Karen Shreffler, 27, Flora, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Deceptive Practice. Bond set in the amount of $1,000.00 (10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. She posted bond and was released.

- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Kohl Harrison, 25, Louisville, on an outstanding Effingham County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of D.U.I. Bond set at $5,000.00 (10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.
October 22, 2018
- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Richard Grabowski, 27, Clay City, for Criminal Sexual Abuse. Bond set at $200,000.00 (10%). He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.
- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Shawn Crutchfield, 18, Flora, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Violation of Order of Protection. Bond set in the amount of $5,000.00(10%). He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.

- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy cited James Kerrin, 26, Chelsea, Al., for Hunting without Permission of Land Owner. He was given a Notice to Appear in Clay County Court.
- Brody L. Hall, 19, Flora, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Theft. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.

- Andrew J. Robinson, 25, Sullivan, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Bond set in the amount of $3,000.00 (10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.
- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Gina Brown, 47, Flora, for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. She appeared in Clay Court and was released.
- Christopher E. Glass, 35, Stewardson, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Petition to Revoke Probation on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond set in the amount of $15,000.00 (10%). He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.

- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Christopher Stewart, 22, Heartville, on an outstanding Effingham County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving While Driver’s License Suspended. Bond set at $3,500.00 (10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.
- the Clay County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a motor vehicle accident at 9:09 a.m. south of the intersection of Rt. 45 and Monroe Street in Louisville. Apparently Katie Cammon, 32, Louisville, operating a 2014 Chrysler van was travelling north on Route 45, when a 2004 Pontiac operated by Cassandra Thompson, 20, Louisville, pulled from a driveway and failed to yield striking the Cammon vehicle. Thompson was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way. She was given a Notice to Appear in Clay County court. No injuries reported.
- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy cited Tayler Bell, 20, Carbon, Indiana, for Disobeying a Traffic Control Device. He was given a Notice to Appear in Clay County court.
- the Clay County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a motor vehicle accident at 3:30 p.m. at the 13000 block of U.S. Hwy 45. Apparently a 17 year old female, Flora, operating a 2006 Dodge and Tonya Goodman, 36, Flora, operating a 2008 Chevrolet were both southbound on U.S. Hwy 45 and stopped awaiting for a vehicle to turn and a 16 year old male from Xenia also southbound failed to stop, striking the female juvenile vehicle, who in turn struck the Goodman vehicle. The female juvenile was cited for Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle and male juvenile was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident. Minor injuries reported.
- the Clay County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a motor vehicle accident at 1:59 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Hwy 50 and U.S. Hwy 45. Apparently Timothy Bain, 48, Mt. Vernon, operating a 2018 Chevolet pickup was stopped at the stop intersection going west when a 2004 Chevrolet operated by Brian Swope, 37, Ingraham, who was also going west, slid on the wet pavement striking the Bain vehicle. Swope was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident. He was given a Notice to Appear in Clay County Court. No injuries reported.
October 29, 2018
- the Clay County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a motor vehicle accident at 9:40 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Route 50 and Indian Ridge Road. Apparently Nathan Perry, 31, Flora, operating a 2002 Pontiac was travelling west on U.S. Rt 50, and attempted to pass a combine at the intersection. The combine was apparently turning onto Indian Ridge Road. Perry, in order not to strike the combine, entered a field. Perry was cited for Improper Passing/Intersection. No injuries reported.
