Mattoon Police Report

MATTOON, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The following has been released by the Mattoon Police Department:

November 29, 2018

Mattoon Police arrested Trent M. Dailey, 32 years of age of Mattoon, for two active Coles County Warrants for his arrest. The arrest occurred on 11/29/2018 at 11:50am on Lakeland Blvd at Olive Ave in Mattoon. One warrant was a failure to appear warrant for a 2018 Driving while License Suspended charge, and the other for failing to appear on a 2016 Possession of Methamphetamine charge. Mr. Dailey was taken to the Coles County Jail.

Mattoon Police arrested 25 year old Kaleb J. Elmore of Mattoon, 26 year old Samantha M. Reavley of Mattoon, and 23 year old Jesse L. Conover of Charleston, IL, all for the charge of Possession of Cannabis with the Intent to Deliver. The arrests occurred on 11/29/2018 when Mr. Elmore and Ms. Reavley were arrested in the 3000 block of Moultrie Ave in Mattoon, at 12:50pm. Mr. Conover was later arrested with the assistance of the Charleston Police Department in the 1300 block of Jefferson Ave in Charleston, IL, when he was taken into custody at 6:00pm. The charges resulted from an investigation in which it was discovered that the trio were selling large amounts of Cannabis from their residences. A search warrant was then issued for the residence of Mr. Elmore and Ms. Reavley in Mattoon, where police located approximately 6 pounds of Cannabis, and over $5,500 in US currency as well as paraphernalia and packaging materials. Both Mr. Elmore and Ms. Reavley were taken to the Coles County Jail as a result of the search warrant. A second search warrant was also executed with the assistance of the Charleston Police Department at Mr. Conover’s residence in Charleston, at which time police located approximately 1 quarter pound of Cannabis, along with paraphernalia and packaging materials. Mr. Conover was also taken to the Coles County Jail as a result of that search warrant.
