Barrington Hills, IL -(Effingham Radio)- An Illinois lawmaker wants to bring the death penalty back to the state.
Representative David McSweeney of Barrington Hills says he will either sponsor or co-sponsor a bill that would bring the death penalty back.
McSweeney admits the bill will be tough to pass but vows to give it his full effort in the next session.
