Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- A new restaurant franchise is planned on moving into Effingham.
According to a post on the City of Effingham’s Facebook Page, the former Ryan’s building located on Avenue of Mid America has been purchased by BE Squared Construction & Remodeling, LLC of Springfield.
The company purchased the space in July.
The post then states that the company plans to lease the space to a Golden Corral Franchisee following renovations to the building.
Light exterior work on the building is already taking place, and the company is working with their architectural firm and the City to obtain building permits.
The renovation should take approximately six months, with the new restaurant slated to open in the Spring of 2020.
