The Altamont Indians picked up the opening round win 67-53 over the Thompsonville Tigers. Altamont got off to a 19-11 lead after one quarter. The Tigers gave everything Altanont could handle staying with the Indians with fantastic three point shooting. Aiden Jahraus almost single handedly willed Altamont to victory with his 34 point outburst. Noah Teasley also had a big impact on the glass, hauling down rebounds and drawing four charges. Altamont improves to 9-0 on the season and advance to the 2nd Round to face host Sesser Valier or New Athens on Friday night at approx 8:00 P.M.
