Carlyle Lake, IL -(Effingham Radio)- As of 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 10, 2020, the pool elevation at Carlyle Lake was 445.20 feet, referenced to the North American Vertical Datum (NAV88), with a release of approximately 7,000 cubic feet per second (cfs). The inflow for Thursday, January 9, 2020 was approximately 3,300 day second feet (dsf). With the forecast precipitation over the next two days, Carlyle Lake is expected to crest at a stage of approximately 450.0 feet NAV88 on Saturday, January 18, 2020. Inflows into the lake with forecast rain are expected to exceed 26,000 dsf and will exceed 10,000 dsf for at least 7 days. In accordance with the water control plan, downstream releases will possibly be increased to 10,000 cfs by Monday, January 13, 2020.
