32 year old, Brandon Schubert, of Mattoon, IL, was arrested by Illinois State Police on an Effingham County FTA warrant for Driving While License Is Suspended. Schubert posted $375.
23 year old, Dakota L. Barton, of Lovington, IL, was booked by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on a 10 day Effingham County mittimus sentence to jail for Driving While License Is Revoked.
51 year old, Kenneth Hune, of Carmel, IN, was arrested by Effingham Police Department on a Fayette County FTA warrant for Driving While License Is Suspended.
26 year old, Rachael L. Stephens, of Effingham, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County FTA warrant for Theft.
39 year old, Brenda L. Davis, of Altamont, IL, was arrested by Altamont Police Department on an Effingham County FTA warrant for Driving Under The Influence (Alcohol). Davis posted $575.

58 year old, Richard J. Hubeny, of Gilbertsville, KY, was arrested by Illinois State Police for Driving While License Is Suspended, Illegal Transportation Of Alcohol, Adult Possession Of Cannabis and Possession Of Cannabis (10-30 Grams). Hubeny posted $400.
44 year old, Jeremy R. Snell, of Hidalgo, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for Possession Of Methamphetamine (400-900 Grams), Possession Of A Hypodermic Needle and Driving Under The Influence (Drugs).
33 year old, Torrey L. Denton, of Altamont, IL, was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for Driving Under The Influence (Alcohol), Leaving The Scene Of An Accident and Driving In The Wrong Lane. Denton posted $100 and a valid driver’s license.

At 1:29 P.M. north of the intersection of Henrietta and Fayette a vehicle driven by Katelyn E. Koontz, 16, Effingham, collided with a vehicle driven by Robert E. Bone Jr, 25, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.

January 24, 2020

Between 1:00 P.M. and 2:15 P.M. at 1011 Ford an unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle owned by James Prather, Vandalia. No injuries and no citations at this time.

January 25, 2020

At 9:40 A.M. at the intersection of Jefferson and Henrietta a vehicle driven by Gene R. Schumacher, 62, Altamont, turned into the path of and was struck by a vehicle driven by Kalina R. Dunn, 20, Effingham. Dunn and a passenger in Dunn’s vehicle, Aubree J. Dunn, 2, Effingham, both sustained injuries but refused treatment. Schumacher was ticketed for Disobeying Traffic Control Device.

At 7:19 A.M. at 1701 W. Evergreen an unknown semi struck a parked semi owned by Georgian Freight Lines, Brampton, Ontario, Canada. No injuries and no citations at this time.
