Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Former Illinois Senator Martin Sandoval is facing prison time after pleading guilty to accepting bribes and filing a false tax return.
Sandoval pleaded guilty on Tuesday, and faces 10-13 years in prison.
He admitted to taking 250-thousand dollars in bribes to block anti-red light camera legislation and to filing a false tax return.
He is cooperating with federal investigators on the case.
