Peoria, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Leaders at Bradley University are proposing some big changes.
Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Walter Zakahi sent an email to employees saying the university is considering eliminating some majors and merging departments.
The restructuring plan is an effort to provide additional resources to high-interest programs while reorganizing those with fewer students.
Data and research on the issue have been collected over the last year and a half.
The idea will next be presented to the school’s Senate, then to the Board of Trustees.
