Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Republican Congressman Darin LaHood is speaking out about the commutation of Rod Blagojevich’s prison sentence.
LaHood says the former governor “ran the state like a criminal enterprise” and never showed any remorse or apologized for his actions.
The congressman also said that any comparisons between Blagojevich’s attempts to use his position to extort campaign contributions and President Trump using his office to pressure Ukraine into investigating a political opponent are inappropriate.
