Indianapolis, IN -(Effingham Radio)- The NCAA football rules committee wants to speed up the video review process.
The committee is proposing a two-minute limit on replay reviews as well as allowing ejected players to remain in the bench area instead of having to go back to the locker room. Other recommendations include having game officials on the field 90 minutes prior to kickoff instead of 60 and having a coach on the field during pre-game warmups.
The NCAA Playing Rules Oversight Panel will meet to discuss the potential changes April 16th.
