Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Governor JB Pritzker on Wednesday pushed back the state income tax-filing deadline to match the new federal deadline of July 15th.
The delay also covers tax payments.
Illinois Republicans had been pressuring the Democratic Pritzker for the delay.
The governor also announced three programs that will offer 90-million dollars’ worth of low-interest loans and grants to small businesses that have been economically impacted by the coronavirus.
