1,100 Low-Risk Prisoners Released Early In Illinois

Chicago, IL -(Effingham Radio)- More than 11-hundred prisoners are free in Illinois. They’re all said to be low-risk.

They were released early because of the pandemic along with 60-plus kids in juvenile detention. Governor J.B. Pritzker says the state is doing all it can to protect those who still remain behind bars.
