Effingham County Healty Department Reports 3 New Cases Of Coronavirus In Effingham County

Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- From the Effingham County Health Department:

The Effingham County Health Department is reporting 3 new Coronavirus cases today. The individuals, a female in her 50’s and two teen boys, have had contact with persons infected and are now at home following isolation protocol.

Yesterday, the Illinois Department of Public Health incorrectly reported on their website an additional positive case in Effingham County. This incorrect number was a result of a data entry error.

With the addition of these three cases, the correct total positive count for Effingham County is 11 cases confirmed.
