Health Officials Release Updated Totals Of COVID-19 Cases

Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Health officials are updating the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases as well as deaths related to the virus.

The Illinois Department of Public Health announced over 460 new cases of the virus in the state yesterday.

Officials also confirmed just over 25 new deaths. The state has a total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases of over 137-thousand.

The death toll stands at over 66-hundred.
