Louisville, IL -(Effingham Radio)- There are a lot of people asking ‘what’s next’ after a judge struck down most of Illinois’ coronavirus emergency orders. The judge in Clay County ordered that Governor Pritzker overstepped his authority in every emergency order after April 8th because his emergency powers only last for 30 days.
The ruling may not change much. The judge said the Illinois Department of Public Health has the power to shut down businesses and restrict what people in the state do. The governor’s office is looking at an appeal.
