Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce celebrates the opening of new businesses and welcomes new Chamber members with ribbon cuttings, new member pictures and other events and activities.
St. John’s Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS). St. John’s hosts a community Food Pantry twice a month (2nd and 4th Tuesdays), supports the local FCA chapter, delivers comfort care packages monthly to the Crossroads Cancer Center, and provides lunch daily for two schools in Haiti. St. John’s offers Eagle’s Nest Preschool which is a licensed preschool and is open to anyone from any church background. Worship services are held at 4:00 & 5:30 pm on Saturday (Traditional) and 8:00 am (Traditional) and 10:30 am (Contemporary) on Sunday at 901 W Jefferson Street, Effingham. Sunday School for children and adults is from 9:15-10:15 am on Sundays. Visit them online at www.stjohnslcms.net.
