EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

April 16, 2021

• Effingham Police arrested 41 year old Robert E. Winks of Effingham for a Marion County FTA warrant for MFG/DEL of cannabis 500<2000 grams. Robert posted $2575 and was released.
• Effingham Police arrested 35 year old Whitney S. Fitch of Edgewood for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving on revoked/suspended license because of 2nd DUI. Whitney posted $575 and was released.
• Altamont Police arrested 24 year old Isabella R. Gardner of Effingham for leaving the scene/vehicle damage, and criminal damage to state property. Isabella was given an NTA and was released.
• Effingham Police arrested 39 year old Larry R. Kimery of Mattoon for possession of <5g of meth. Larry was given an NTA and was released.

April 13, 2021 

• At 5:43 A.M. east of the intersection of 3rd and Technology a vehicle driven  by Joseph E. Florida, 70, Altamont, struck a deer. No injuries and no citations. 

April 15, 2021 

• At 1:04 P.M. at 503 Rinehart a vehicle driven by Tomas S. Canfield, 29,  Effingham, backed into a vehicle driven by Walter J. Ziegler, 76, Effingham.  No injuries and no citations. 
• At 3:07 P.M. at the intersection of Fayette and Henrietta a vehicle driven by  Rebecca K. Laue, 48, Shumway, collided with a vehicle driven by Jason R.  Mislich, 52, Altamont. No injuries and no citations. 
• At 3:32 P.M. at the intersection of Keller and Evergreen a vehicle driven by  Faith E. Greuel, 27, Effingham, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Rodney H.  Riley, 41, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
