EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

May 3, 2021

Effingham Police arrested 37 year old Michael Coleman of Mason for aggravated domestic battery and criminal damage to property. Michael was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 25 year old Joseph Allen Jr. of Lancaster, PA for an Effingham County warrant for cannabis trafficking >5000g. Joseph was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 20 year old Osbaldo Fabian Gabriel of Effingham for DUI-alcohol, illegal consumption of alcohol. Osbaldo was given an NTA and was released.
Altamont Police arrested 20 year old Austin W. Wilderman of Mulberry Grove for a Bond County warrant for violation of an order of probation. Austin posted $500 bond and was released.

May 4, 2021

Altamont Police arrested 29 year old Ryan J. Beccue of Altamont for domestic battery and assault. Ryan was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 29 year old James T. Davis of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for criminal trespass to land, an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. James was given an NTA.
Effingham Police arrested 26 year old Kyla Renee Hubbard of Olney for possession of a controlled substance, driving while license suspended, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Kyla was given an NTA.

May 5, 2021

Illinois State Police arrested 51 year old Trent A. Wilson of Effingham for a Coles County FTA warrant for retail theft. Trent was given an NTA.
Altamont Police arrested 19 year old Joshua T. Burger of Edgewood for burglary to a church. Joshua was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 22 year old Kody D. Lankford of Dieterich for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Kody was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 23 year old Brandi L. Dehart of Shumway for possession of meth <5g, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Brandi was given an NTA.

April 24, 2021

At 3:52 P.M. at the intersection of Charlotte and Rickelman an unknown vehicle entered into the lane of travel of a vehicle driven by Michael P. Slane, 43, Effingham, causing Slane’s vehicle to swerve off the roadway to avoid a collision. Slane’s vehicle traveled through and caused damage to a yard at 813 W. Rickelman, struck and damaged an Effingham City street sign and culvert, then continued into and caused damage to a yard at 811 W. Rickelman. No injuries and no citations at this time.

May 3, 2021

At 3:55 A.M. east of the intersection of Fayette and Outer Belt West a vehicle driven by Laura L. Carr, 77, Detroit, MI, left the roadway and struck and damaged an Illinois Department of Transportation light pole. No injuries and no citations.
