- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 52-year-old Tammy J. Williams of Salem, Illinois. Williams was arrested on possession of meth and drug paraphernalia charges. Williams was released and given a notice to appear.
- Altamont Police Department arrested 42-year-old Staphanie L. Mercer of Effingham. Mercer was arrested on charges of possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. Mercer was release and given a notice to appear.
- Altamont Police Department arrested 42-year-old Joshua Black of Effingham. Black was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license and a Shelby County failure to appear warrant for domestic battery. Black is still in custody.

- At 11:22 A.M. at the intersection of Keller and Thelma Keller a vehicle driven by Veronica L. Chapman, 46, Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by Andrew W. Miller, 33, Shelbyville. No injuries and no citations.
