Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham County Chamber celebrates the opening of new businesses and locations and welcomes new Chamber members with ribbon cuttings, new member pictures, and other events and activities.
Effingham Head Start 0-5 Program held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of their new location at 100 E Market Ave., in Effingham. C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation is a nonprofit that has been working to better the lives of people through social service programs since 1965. C.E.F.S. Head Start 0-5 Program promotes school preparation by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provisions of educational, health, nutritional, social, and other services. Head Start provides comprehensive classroom and home-based services to pregnant women and children birth to age five, including children with significant needs.
