Effingham County Jail
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 40-year-old Brook C. Winchester of Coulterville. Winchester was arrested on charges of felony driving with a revoked license, unlawful use of registration and operating a uninsured motor vehicle. Winchester was given a notice to appear and released.
- Effingham Police Department arrested 52-year-old Michel C. Snearley of Olney. Snearley was arrested on a Crawford County failure to appear warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Snearley posted $375 bond and was released.
- Effingham Police Department arrested 45-year-old Ricky S. DeSoto of Houston, Texas. DeSoto was arrested on charges of aggravated domestic battery, disorderly conduct and interfering with a domestic violence report. Desoto is still in custody.
