Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham County Chamber celebrates the opening of new businesses or locations and welcomes new Chamber members with ribbon cuttings, new member pictures, and other events and activities.
The Royal School of Cosmetology, LTD, located in the old train station at 401 W National Ave., Effingham, opened on March 1, 2021, and offers instruction in Cosmetology, Barbering, Esthetics, Medical Esthetics, Nail Tech, and Instructor. They also offer continuing education classes for existing beauty professional to meet their state requirements for license renewal.
The Royal School of Cosmetology has remodeled and renamed the old train station to Station Plaza. It was a diamond in the rough when purchased after sitting vacant for over 30 years. It has been extensively remodeled and transformed into a beautiful destination for salon services. Plans for 2022 include opening a second location in Champaign in March.
