Friday Police Blotter

March 11, 2022

• Effingham Police arrested 39 year old Alea A. Maders of Charleston for possession of <5g of meth, possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis 30-100g, possession of drug paraphernalia, stolen registration sticker, operating a vehicle with revoked plates, driving while license suspended, and operating a vehicle without one headlight. Alea was taken to the Effingham County jail.

CRASHES 

March 9, 2022 

• At 10:07 AM at the intersection of N. Keller and W. Evergreen a vehicle driven by Angela M. Leister, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Christopher W. Moschenrose, 44, Sigel. No injuries and no citations. 
• At 12:03 PM at 1301 N. Maple an unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle owned by Candy M. Jansen, Effingham. No injuries and no citations at this time. 
• At 5:14 PM at the intersection of E. Fayette and S. Willow a vehicle driven by Molly B. Wendte, 20, Teutopolis, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Stacia L. Wortman, 52, Teutopolis. No injuries and no citations.
