Effingham Police arrested 43 year old Gary E. Courtney of Chicago Heights, IL for an Effingham County warrant for receive/possess/sell a stolen vehicle. Gary was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 40 year old Dustin A. Hall of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of meth <5g, and a Douglas County warrant attachment for contempt. Dustin posted bond and was released.
Effingham Police arrested 40 year old Nathan L. Willis of Brownstown for possession of 15-100g of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of ammo by a felon, and possession of stolen property. Nathan was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 60 year old Kevin D. Malone of Effingham for 2 counts of aggravated battery. Kevin was taken to the Effingham County jail.

Effingham Police arrested 28 year old Taylor K. Nathan of Effingham for a mittimus to jail. Taylor was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 37 year old James A. Fizer of Edgewood for a mittimus to jail. James was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Illinois State Police arrested 32 year old Yue Zhang of Flushing, NY for possession of >5k grams of cannabis, unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver, possession of a controlled substance, delivering >5k grams of cannabis, and cannabis trafficking >5k grams. Yue was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Effingham Police arrested 20 year old Erin T. Hannagan of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for retail theft/disposing of merchandise <$300. Erin was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham Police arrested 41 year old Bonnie A. Swofford of Effingham for a mittimus to jail. Bonnie was taken to the Effingham County jail.

Effingham Police arrested 38 year old Amber N. Burry of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for bad checks. Amber was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham Police arrested 23 year old Hunter D. Gregory of Louisville for an Effingham County FTA warrant for domestic battery. Hunter was taken to the Effingham County jail.
Altamont Police arrested 39 year old Lyndsey L. Walk of Altamont for a Shelby County FTA warrant for possession of meth. Lyndsey posted $375 and was released.
Illinois State Police arrested 26 year old Frank A. Rizo of Mason for DUI alcohol and speeding. Frank was taken to the Effingham County jail.

At 7:10 P.M. at 1412 W. Fayette a Marshall CUSD C2 school bus driven by William L. Martin, 54, Marshall, backed into and damaged a support beam for Motel 6. No injuries and no citations.

April 1, 2022

At 2:42 P.M. at the intersection of Keller and Ave of Mid America a vehicle driven by Janice B. Case, 80, Effingham, collided with a vehicle driven by Glenn L. Morse, 65, Apple Valley, MN. No injuries and no citations.
