Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham City Council is set to meet on Tuesday, April 19th at 5:00pm.
During the meeting, the City Council will discuss and take possible action on the following items:
- An ordinance to adopt the Annual Operating Budget for the City of Effingham for Fiscal Year 2023
- A resolution establishing a 5 year Capital Improvements Plan for the Period of FY23-FY27
- An ordinance providing for the addition of a portion of various routes to the municipal street system of the City (Willenborg Street)
- An ordinance declaring certain real property and improvements thereon as being dangerous and unsafe (809 W Richland Ave, Effingham)
- An ordinance approving a site plan amendment for a PRD-Planned Residence District- Golden Fields Subdivision
- An ordinance granting a special use permit in the City to Menard, Inc-Historic Hills LLC for a radio or television broadcasting station, tower, or antenna, or an Earth terminal antenna or Earth terminal used for commercial purposes on Althoff Avenue (Teutopolis Frontage Road)
- An ordinance amending the zoning ordinance of the City for Kristen Allen and Alex and April Ritz for 101 W Evergreen Avenue
- An ordinance granting a special use permit to Ruralmed LLC for any public or government building or privately owned emergency service operation for 1100 W Wabash Avenue
- A resolution authorizing the issuance of a liquor license to Maria’s Taco House at 3001 S Banker
- A resolution authorizing the issuance of a liquor license to Lucia’s Italian Kitchen, LLC at 400 W Clark
- A resolution approving the preliminary plat No. 853-P and approving final plat No. 853-F of McAllasters Subdivision
- A resolution approving the preliminary plat No. 859-P and approving final plat No. 859-F of North-Mor Storage Subdivision
- A resolution approving the preliminary plat No. 860-P and approving final plat No. 860-F of Park Ridge Subdivision Fourth Addition
- A resolution authorizing the sale of real estate (Illinois Route 33 Project)
- A resolution authorizing the execution of the Inter-G0vernmental Grant Agreement with the State of Illinois, Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for Ford Avenue Extension Phase IA
The City Council will also discuss the following items:
- An ordinance establishing pay ranges for the various non-union salaried and hourly positions within the service of the City for FY23
- A resolution granting permission to allow a portion of city streets to be temporarily closed for Fourth of July fireworks
- Fourth of July fireworks financial request
- CGI Video Project proposal
- Nextsite proposal
- Bid Letting for FY23 Resurfacing Program Phase I
