NEWTON, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office has released a list of recent arrests and citations made within the county.The Sheriff’s Office posted the list to their Facebook Page on Thursday. Below is the release from the Sheriff’s Office.
“Statements made herein are based upon probable cause. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
- On 03/15/2022 at approximately 16:18 HRS, Timothy J Kerr, 49, Olney, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle, driving with license revoked, and DUI, after deputies responded to a call in the area of E 2000 th Ave and N 2100 th St Yale, Jasper County.
- On 03/16/2022 at approximately 23:34 HRS, Carla L Segarra, 40, Dieterich, was arrested on an out of county warrant during a warrant service in Jasper County.
- On 03/23/2022 at approximately 08:18 HRS, Heather C Wooters, 31, Newton, was arrested for driving with license suspended and possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle, after deputies responded to a call in the area of E St Hwy 33 Newton, Jasper County.
- On 03/25/2022 at approximately 22:54 HRS, Ellana R Swanson, 42, Charleston, was arrested for operate uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage, DUI, and failure to report motor vehicle accident, after deputies responded to an accident in the area of E 1400 th Ave and N 900 th St Newton, Jasper County.
- On 03/27/2022 at approximately 21:37 HRS, Logan M Eaton, 27, Newton, was arrested for DUI and possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle, during a traffic stop in the area of Water St and N Maple St Newton, Jasper County.
- On 04/01/2022 at approximately 22:07 HRS during a traffic stop in the area of W Washington St and Stanley Ave Newton, Jasper County, Judy J Houser, 68, Newton, was arrested for driving while license suspended, suspended registration, operate uninsured motor vehicle, and possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle. Lucas S Houser, 26, West Liberty, was arrested on a body attachment warrant and possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle.
- On 04/02/2022 at approximately 03:09 HRS deputies responded to a report of a fight in the area of E 400 th Ave Willow Hill, Jasper County. Paul E Miller, 32, Olney, was arrested for disorderly conduct. Broderick A Shryock, 33, Noble, was arrested for DUI and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
- On 04/03/2022 at approximately 22:10 HRS, Brent J Phipps, 23, Newton, was arrested for DUI, during a traffic stop in the area of E 600 th Ave and N 1700 th St Newton, Jasper County.
- On 04/04/2022 at approximately 06:47 HRS, Otis W Wilkes, 38, Olney, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, after deputies responded to a call in the area of N St Hwy 130 West Liberty, Jasper County.
- On 04/09/2022 at approximately 18:55 HRS, Shawn M Laman, 33, Urbana, was arrested for operate uninsured motor vehicle and driving with license revoked, during a traffic stop in the area of N St Hwy 130 and E 1400 th Ave Newton, Jasper County.
- On 04/11/2022 at approximately 07:01 HRS, Joshua R Rodgers, 31, Rose Hill, was arrested for a probation violation, after deputies responded to a call in the area of Cooper St Hidalgo, Jasper County.”
