Farina, IL-(Effingham Radio)- South Central FFA members recently competed at the Section 19 Dairy Cattle Evaluation Career Development Event. The section contest was held at the Bond County Fairgrounds on March 30th. The team consisted of 11 members. Kayley Lacey placed 2nd individually in the section. The team as one placed 2nd as well.

South Central FFA members also competed at State Dairy Cattle Evaluation Career Development Event. The state contest was held at Kaskaskia College on April 1st. One of our participants, Evan Hoover, placed 13th overall in the competition. The team placed 10th overall. They all tried their hardest and did a good job!
