Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham City Council is set to meet on Tuesday at 5:00pm.
The following items are on the agenda:
- City Employee of the Quarter to be awarded to Alyssa Robinson
- An ordinance providing the appointment of officials, establishing positions within the City, and authorizing the number of employees within the City
- An ordinance redeclaring 1606 S Fourth Street as dangerous and unsafe
- An ordinance rezoning 801, 805, 807, and 809 N Keller Drive from R-2 Single-Family Resident District to B-1 Neighborhood Shopping District
- An ordinance rezoning the end of Oak Pointe Drive from R-3D Multiple-Dwelling District and B-5 Highway Commercial District to R-2 Single-Family Residence District
- Resolution accepting the lowest responsive quote from IMCO in the total amount of $25,750.53 for materials for the water main relocation being conducted along US 45/Fitzpatrick Way
- Resolution authorizing execution of a letter of intent with the Illinois Department of Transportation to prepare the Agreement for the Jurisdictional Transfer of F.A.S Route 1725 (Frontage Road) from IDOT to the City of Effingham
- Resolution authorizing economic support to the Alliance for an economic impact study with SportsImpacts
- Resolution authorizing execution of an agreement with Farnsworth Group, Inc to provide project files from the 2021 Industrial TIF Drainage Study for future projects within the project area
- Resolution authorizing an amendment to the redevelopment agreement with EBS Development, LLC
- Resolution authorizing execution of an Inter-governmental Grant Agreement with the State of Illinois, Department of Transportation for EDP and TARP grant funds in the amount of $330,785 for the Thies Avenue Extension/Airport Road project
- Resolution appointing Theresa Hillyer to the Plan Commission with her three year term to expire May 1, 2025
- Prairie Ace Estates will be extending the bond for 1 year to complete road improvements
- Allow payment of bills and requisitions
- An ordinance accepting right-of-way and permanent easement from Saint Anthony Memorial Hospital of the Hospital Sisters of the Third Order of St Francis for the Heritage Avenue Extension Project
- Resolution authorizing execution of an agreement with Milano & Grunloh Engineers in the total amount of $37,961.40 for construction engineering services for the Heritage Avenue Extension Project
- Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an Inter-governmental agreement with the Effingham County Emergency Telephone System Board for a one-year term
- City Engineer Thoele will discuss an agreement in the amount of $16,500 with Civil Design, Inc for Austin Avenue and Park Street Sanitary Sewer Improvements
- Bids for the Heritage Avenue Extension Project
The Effingham City Council will meet in the City Council Chambers on East Jefferson Avenue in Effingham.
