Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Multiple ceremonies across Effingham were held today to remember our fallen heroes this Memorial Day.
The first ceremony was held at St. Anthony Cemetery. Both the veterans and public in attendance showed their support for our fallen soldiers across the country.
The next ceremony was held at Oakridge Cemetery. This service featured Gold Star Mothers Lynn Donaldson and Kathy Sane, an invocation by Reverend Mike Burdick, and singing of the National Anthem by Pat and Julie Zuber. Dave Althoff, Commander of the DAV, was MC.

The third ceremony was held at Woodlawn Cemetery. This ceremony immediately followed the ceremony at Oakridge Cemetery.
