Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Cromwell Media News Team recently interviewed Rep. Mike Bost, incumbent Republican of Illinois’ newly formed 12th District, to talk about lots of different issues facing Illinoisans. He is running unopposed in the primary, and will face the winner of the Democratic primary between Homer Markel and Joshua Qualls in the general election.
Question 1: Your voting record was brought up when Mr. Markel was interviewed recently. Could you explain why you voted the way you did on some recent bills, like the “Protecting Our Kids Act” and the “Consumer Fuel Price Gouging Prevention Act?”
