Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Drought conditions continue in Eastern Illinois.

According to the National Weather Service in Lincoln, severe drought conditions continue across portions of eastern Illinois.

Recent rains made some improvement from northern Sangamon to Cumberland Counties.
