EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

August 17, 2022

Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 21 year old Kaitlyn G. Durbin of Beecher City for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of 5<15g of meth. Kaitlyn posted bond and was released.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 36 year old Bryan K. Jones of Effingham for an Effingham County PSC warrant for failure to abide by terms and conditions of PSC. Bryan was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 23 year old Jonathan E. Townsend of Mattoon for a Coles County FTA warrant for assault/criminal trespass to property and a Coles County FTA warrant for driving while license revoked/suspended. Jonathan posted bond and was released.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 38 year old Neil A. Flach of Mattoon for a Wayne County warrant alias order of attachment and a Cumberland County FTA warrant for driving while license revoked. Neil was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 36 year old Willie D. Howell of St. Louis, MO for an Effingham County FTA warrant for speeding 26-34mph over speed limit. Willie’s warrant was quashed and he was released.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 32 year old Tabatha S. Arrasmith of Effingham for a Bond County warrant for possession of a controlled substance and hypodermic needle. Tabatha was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

CRASHES

August 15, 2022

At 6:03 A.M. at the intersection of Banker and Fayette a vehicle driven by Tyler K. Gordon, 33, Effingham, sideswiped a vehicle driven by Zachary A. Budde, 38, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
At 10:27 A.M. at the intersection of Keller and St. Anthony a vehicle driven by David R. Jennings, 84, Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by Joseph C. Fernandez, 35, Toledo. No injuries and no citations.
At 5:46 P.M. at the intersection of Banker and Eiche a vehicle driven by Abilene Y. Alvarado Gonzalez, 19, Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by Andrew S. Dailey, 50, Louisville. Dailey sustained injuries but refused treatment at the scene. Alvarado Gonzalez was ticketed for No Valid Driver’s License, Failure to Yield, and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
At 7:55 P.M. at 707 W. Fayette a vehicle driven by Lacy D. Willhite, 39, Effingham, struck a pole owned by Dollar General. No injuries and no citations.
