- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 42 year old Joshua Koonce for an Effingham County FTA warrant for criminal damage to property. Joshua was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 51 year old William Dockery of Effingham for an Effingham County warrant for aggravated battery. William was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 40 year old Joseph Barker of Fillmore for DUI alcohol (2nd or 3rd) and disobeying a stop sign. Joseph posted bond and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 19 year old Tristyn King of Farina for DUI alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol by driver, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and possession of alcohol by a minor.
September 4, 2022
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 24 year old Tara B. Szarek of Mason for a Fayette County warrant for resisting a police officer, aggravated battery, and an IDOC hold for parole violation. Tara was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Altamont Police arrested 24 year old Levi G. Austin of Altamont for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended. Levi posted $175 and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 32 year old Cheyenne M. Haxton of Mason for DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and improper lane usage. Cheyenne posted $100 and Driver’s License and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 23 year old Daisy N. Hillis of Effingham for possession of meth <5g and drug paraphernalia, and possession of adult use cannabis. Daisy was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 38 year old Christopher W. Delap of Westmoreland, KS for unlawful use of a credit card. Christopher was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

- Effingham City Police arrested 53 year old Tammy J. Williams of Salem for retail theft. Tammy was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
