- Effingham City Police arrested 47 year old James A. Traxler of Effingham for possession of burglary tools. James was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 32 year old Benjamin J. Swanson of Dieterich for domestic battery. Benjamin was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 21 year old Kaitlyn Durbin of Beecher City for possession of <5g of meth and drug paraphernalia, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Kaitlyn was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 56 year old Kerry Frantz of Vandalia for disorderly conduct. Kerry was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 40 year old Kyle Julius of Vandalia for an Effingham County FTA warrant for contempt. Kyle posted bond and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 44 year old Michael Stanley of Decatur for violation of order of protection. Michael was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 37 year old Justin Bannick of Effingham for disorderly conduct, battery, and criminal trespass to residence. Justin was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 44 year old Jaime Mounteer of Effingham for domestic battery. Jaime was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

- At 11:27 A.M. north of the intersection of Keller and Evergreen a semi driven by Danny C. Sonnier, 64, Newton, TX, sideswiped a vehicle driven by Kristen L. Winseman, 55, Colorado Springs, CO. No injuries and no citations.
- At 7:30 P.M. at the intersection of Banker and Fayette a vehicle driven by Gina K. Rinehart, 53, Louisville, turned into the path of and was struck by a vehicle driven by Jessica S. Pettyjohn, 28, Effingham, No injuries and no citations.
