Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Expect the unseasonably warm weather to continue through the end of the week.
According to the National Weather Service, high temperatures will climb into the 70s for both Wednesday and Thursday.
A strong cold front will move in Thursday night, bringing with it a few showers and a sharp dip in temperatures.
Highs will plunge into the 30s by Saturday and Sunday, with wind chills into the teens.
A long-term model outlook shows that there’s a 70-80% chance that temperatures will be below normal through the following weekend.
