Carlinville, IL-(Effingham Radio)- New details are emerging in the case of a three-year-old who died after being thrown by his stepmother.
Ashley Bottoms tossed Hunter Drew aside while she was breaking up a fight between two other juveniles, causing Hunter to hit his head back in October. Bottoms then allegedly drove around for three hours with the child in her car before she ever got any help. Now it’s being reported that the Department of Child Family Services was notified of possible abuse against the boy on October 14th, less than a week before Hunter’s death.
