- Effingham County Sheriff’s Department arrested 18 year old Damian A. Melecio of Chicago for possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle by a driver and possession of 30-100g of cannabis. Damian was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 33 year old Amber L. Sandstrom of Jewett for a Jasper County FTA warrant for obstructing/destroying evidence. Amber was given an NTA by Jasper County and was released.

- At 11:33 AM 150 feet east of 1805 Fayette and Outer Belt West an unknown vehicle backed into a parked vehicle owned by Ann Muehlmann, Carbon, IN. No injuries and no citations at this time.
- At 2:25 PM at the intersection of N. Front and W. Washington, Sara N. Ruholl, 31, Effingham, struck a stop sign owned by the City of Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
