Jase Burkett and Jacy Knox helped the Cardinals have the one point lead 14-13 after one.

The boys were next and Woodlawn got the first basket of the game by Wyatt Rollie. Unfortunately that would be one of the only highlights of the night for the boys squad. Altamont would follow with a three from Logan Cornett to put the Indians in front and Altamont would never look back. Everything was firing on all cylinders: Avery Jahraus with a three, four points apiece from Jaren Hammer Eric Kollmann and Kaidyn Miller would put Altamont in front 20-4 after one.
Altamont would continue to put their foot on the gas pedal offensively and turn up the defensive pressure as well. A couple of threes by Jahraus and Mason Robinson would eventually push the lead up to 39 by halftime. As the only person who would get into the scoring column was Wyatt Rollie. Rollie had all six of the Cardinals points as Altamont had the lead 45-6 at the half.
Woodlawn would actually come out great after the break, taking advantage of some sloppy passes by Altamont. Rollie would continue to score every point in the quarter for the Cardinals. Jahraus fourth three pointer of the night, a three from Hammer and four more for Kollmann extended the lead 57-16 after three.
The final quarter went by quickly due to the running clock. Finally Joey Metcalf scored the first Woodlawn basket not named Wyatt Rollie. Altamont would unload the bench and Kaden Davis and Alec Jahraus would both score four ato finish things off, 65-23 was the final.
Altamont extends their winning streak to eight and improves to 13-3 overall and are back in action on Tuesday traveling to Moweaqua to take on Central A & M.
Woodlawn falls to 6-10 on the season.
