EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

February 25, 2023

• Effingham City Police arrested 44 year old Jerry D. Guthrie of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for domestic battery, and a Clay County FTA warrant for driving while license revoked. Jerry was transferred to Clay County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21 year old Rodney J. Mars of St. Elmo for an Effingham County FTA warrant for aggravated battery to a nurse. Rodney posted bond and was released.
• Illinois State Police arrested 38 year old Adam C. Sparling of Effingham for DUI, transportation/possession of open alcohol by a driver, and improper lane usage. Adam posted bond and was released.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35 year old Zachary R. Noll of Imperial, MO for possession of <5g of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic needle, unlawful display of registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance (Adderall), and possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl). Zachary was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

February 26, 2023

• Effingham City Police arrested 45 year old Joshua R. Verdeyen of Effingham for fleeing or attempting to elude police officers, aggravated domestic battery, interference with a domestic violence report, driving while license suspended, operating a vehicle with suspended registration, and violation of bail bond. Joshua was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25 year old Dalton R. Ard of Effingham for an Effingham County PSC mittimus for a 48 hour sentence. Dalton was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29 year old Katlynn M. Rhodes of St. Elmo for a Fayette County FTA warrant for theft. Katlynn posted bond and was released.

February 27, 2023

• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 50 year old Kurt O. Allen of Vandalia for an Effingham County FTA warrant for contempt. Kurt was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34 year old Mason L. Parker of Newton for possession of a hypodermic needle, drug paraphernalia, and meth <5g. Mason was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39 year old Jared E. Winn of Newton for possession of <5g of meth, drug paraphernalia, hypodermic needle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, possession of <5g of meth with intent to deliver, and possession of a controlled substance. Jared was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
