Coles County, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The following was released by the Coles County Sheriff’s Office on their Facebook Page:
The Coles County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kyley Willison, 49, Oakland, IL and Jerry Willison, 72, Oakland, IL on Coles County warrants at 11:50 a.m. on March 17, 2023.
Both subjects surrendered at the Coles County Safety and Detention Center.
Kyley Willison is charged with Official Misconduct (class 3 felony,) Theft (class 1 felony.) and Use of Credit Card with Intent to Defraud (class 4 felony). After appearing in court, bond was set at $50,000 with 10% to apply. He posted a $5,000 bond and was released at 2:55 p.m. He has a court date of April 3, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.
Jerry Willison is charged with Official Misconduct (class 3 felony). Bond was set at $0.
He was released at 12:23 p.m. He has a court date of March 27, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.
These charges are the result of a Coles County Sheriffs Office investigation of the Oakland Fire Protection District. The Coles County State’s Attorney’s Office assisted in this investigation. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
