Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Severe Weather is possible for our area again on Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service, there will be two rounds of severe weather possibly impacting Central Illinois on Tuesday.
The first round will mainly focus on the Illinois River Valley between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
Supercells will pose a risk for large hail, damaging wind gusts, and strong tornados in the Illinois River Valley area.
Round two will occur late Tuesday.
A line of storms will potentially sweep through the entirety of Central and Southeast Illinois.
These storms will hold the potential for damaging wind gusts of 60+ mph and isolated tornadoes embedded in the line.
