EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

May 20, 2023

• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44 year old Travis D. Adams of Decatur for possession of <5g of meth and driving while license revoked. Travis was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 57 year old David E. Mathes of Decatur for possession of <5g of meth, and possession of catalytic without title or license. David was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40 year old Amanda K. Smith of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for theft/disposing of merchandise. Amanda posted bond and was released.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26 year old Dakota C. Hitchcock of Morrisonville, IL for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended. Dakota was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46 year old Robert J. Wesselman of Effingham for an Effingham County mittimus to IDOC for meth possession. Robert was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham City Police arrested 60 year old Larry J. Rine of Teutopolis for retail theft. Larry posted bond and was released.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18 year old Riley D. Funneman of Wheeler for possession of <5g of meth. Riley was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21 year old Macy R. Funneman of Wheeler for an Effingham County original warrant for 3 counts of forgery. Macy was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26 year old Kyler J. Rogers of Newton for an Effingham County FTA warrant for theft control intent $500<$10k, driving while license revoked, and a Jasper County FTA warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Kyler was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31 year old Seth A. McElroy for DUI. Seth posted bond and was released.

May 21, 2023

• Illinois State Police arrested 38 year old Billie D. Thacker of Mattoon for possession of <5g of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and DUI. Billie was given an NTA and was released.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49 year old Laverne L. Verdeyen of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Laverne was given an NTA and was released.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32 year old Nathaniel S. Sparks of Beecher City for criminal trespass to property. Nathaniel was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43 year old Joshua S. Koonce of Charleston for a Jasper County FTA warrant for domestic battery. Joshua posted bond and was released.
• Illinois State Police arrested 32 year old Kory T. Inskeep of Watson for DUI alcohol. Kory posted bond and was released.

• Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47 year old Keith L. Wiseman of Shumway for criminal damage to government supported property. Keith was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
